From Screen to Streets

Cher (Alicia Silverstone), Dionne (Stacey Dash) and Tai (Brittany Murphy) set patterns in 1995 with their preppy Beverly Hills student style and the look is back in trend 20 years after the film was released. Here are some of the most iconic looks from the movie – which if worn today wouldn’t look out of place at all!

The Yellow Plaid Skirt Suit

With the assistance of her super tech propelled wardrobe, Cher was constantly coordinated to flawlessness. A valid example: Her yellow plaid isolates.

Cher’s school uniform is a standout amongst the most notorious outfits to ever hit our screens and right up ’til the present time relatively few of us can look at yellow check without quickly considering Alicia Silverstone’s character.

The Blazer Dress

Except if you’ve been living under a stone, you will realize that overcoats have turned into the outerwear of decision for street style stars as of late.

Unlike us, the ever fashionable Cher didn’t combine the coat with coordinating suit pants or trousers, rather with a minuscule miniskirt making the most recognizable example of the now exceptionally on-drift jacket dress.

Cher’s “Workout” Outfit

Cher wears one of her iconic looks amid P.E: A tank layered over a tee. “I would just like to say that physical education in this school is a disgrace,” she states. “I mean, standing in line for forty minutes is hardly aerobically effective. I doubt I’ve worked off the calories in a stick of sugar-free gum.”
